2022 SASS MA/CT/RI State Championships

RO Classes

The classes will be held from 9:00 AM and will end no later than 5:00 PM.

Please let us know if you plan to attend so we can make appropriate arrangements. Please also bring paper to write on, and pencil or pen. Please be familiar with the SASS Shooters Handbook. Class resources can be found at: http://www.sassnet.com/Shooters-Handbook-001A.php.

No guns or gear are required. Cowboy dress encouraged but not required. Please dress for comfort. Please arrive no later than 8:30 AM.

Range Operations Basic Safety Course Level 1: SASS requires the following for all participants in the ROI course.

1. You must be a SASS Member.
2. Course certification course costs the student $25. Refresher course fees are $10. The program is open to new shooters who have not taken the RO classes, experienced shooters and current RO’s as a refresher class.

Range Officer Safety Course Level II: SASS requires the following for all participants in the ROII courses.

1. You must be a SASS Member.
2. Successfully completed the RO Basic Safety Course Level I Course.
3. Must have competed in matches for a period of 6 months.
